Scafell Pike via the Corridor route
This is a beautiful and dramatic high level walk in the Lake District National Park.
Scafell Pike is the highest mountain in England. Setting off from Seathwaite, the route passes Styhead Tarn before heading along the Corridor Route to Scafell Pike. The Corridor Route is a fantastic high level traverse threading a path through steep, rocky ground. This requires a very short section of some easy scrambling After summitting Scafell Pike (978m) we head to Great End (910m) via Broad Crag. The route then heads for Esk Hause before making the long descent along Grains Beck back to Seathwaite.
This is a long walk and requires a reasonable level of fitness.
