Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge

The classic Yorkshire Three Peaks is a 24 mile walk with a total ascent of 1600m. It starts and finishes in Horton in Ribblesdale in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park with a target time of 12 hours to complete it.

This is a very popular as a charity event and shows off the beautiful Yorkshire Dales at its best.

Our fully qualified and experienced Guides will walk you throughout the event, making sure you stay on the right route. They will help you to walk at the correct pace and will encourage you when the going gets tough.

The Three Peaks walked are:
Pen-y-Ghent (691m)
Whernside (728m)
Ingleborough (723m)

What’s included?
Experienced and qualified Mountain Guides walking with the groups in a ratio of 1 to 8
The guides will carry 1st Aid kits, group shelters and radios. This will allow you to concentrate on completing the event without any worries about navigation in poor weather and are an essential safety feature in case of accidents or injury. A support vehicle will be on hand as a safety vehicle to help with anyone struggling, but also to provide hot and cold drinks and lots of high energy snacks to keep you going at the Ribble Head viaduct and at the road between Whernside and Ingleborough. Anyone struggling to complete the walk can drop out at these points.
