Lake District 24 Peaks Challenge
Lake District 24 Peaks Challenge

This is a tough two day event, requiring a high level of fitness. The first day is the same as the ‘Lake District 10 Peaks Challenge’ (28km and 2500m of ascent and descent). The second day is slightly easier than the first day. Even though more peaks are climbed on the second day, the total ascent is less. However, with tired legs from the previous day, it is a hard day’s walk and requires a good level of hill fitness.
Target time for day 1 – 10 peaks – is 12 hours for the 28km and 2500m of ascent.
Target time for day 2 -is 10 hours for the 23km and 1750m of ascent.
A fantastic high level challenge across the highest Lake District mountains - simply stunning.
