Welcome to Active Mountain Events Ltd.

Active Mountain Events offers a wide range of outdoor adventure experiences.

We run guided walks for small groups or individuals, navigation training days, charity events for any size groups, either corporate or just friends looking for a fun and exciting experience.

All our staff are qualified outdoor instructors with a wide range of outdoor experiences.  As part of the quality service we try to ensure that each group is accompanied by at least one qualified and experienced guide in the minimum ratio of 1 to 8.

We take safety in the mountains very seriously and do not favour the system where marshals are spaced out along a route and participants have to walk unaided between check points.  We will be with you the whole time, supporting and encouraging you to meet whatever challenge you are undertaking.  A back up vehicle is always in attendance to support the group and help to get individuals off the mountains if they feel they can no longer continue with the rest of the group.

Why Active Mountain Events?

Active Mountain Events is run by Rob Holden, who has spent a lifetime in the mountains. With over twenty years as a member of a Lake District Mountain Rescue team and an excellent knowledge of the environment in all conditions, safety is alway paramount in all our events.
